My interest for the energy world was caught early. When completing my Bachelors’ degree I wrote my thesis about the liberalisation and privatisation of the Dutch energy market. After earning my master’s degree in Business Studies, I began to work for the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company “TAQA”. At this company I served the role as Performance Analyst within the Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Department. My main responsibilities included:

- Driving data collection and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting for the Group Vice President of HSSE and HSSE leads internationally; providing HSSE analysis and recommendations to all TAQA leadership and external stakeholders; 

- Serving as project manager for several global projects, including the TAQA Global Safety Perception Survey, KPI Dashboard development and E-learning initiative; directly supported the project manager in developing the TAQA Global Environmental Strategy;

- Collected, monitored, and managed all business units’ and corporate HSSE budgets and forecasts internationally.

After three years with TAQA I decided to go for a new challenge as (strategy) consultant at UCPartners. I consider the energy and utility industry as extremely interesting, dynamic, and challenging. UCPartners offers me a unique opportunity to couple my business skills with my educational background. I am an adaptable and energetic person, revelling in change, yet comfortable in supporting long-established processes through my analytical and communication skills.

Outside working hours you can find me often on my road bike, either in the Netherlands but also frequently in the Belgian Ardennes or French Alps and Pyrenees.
