After successfully finishing my studies at Nyenrode University with my Master of Science degree in 2001, I started working in the tax free wholesale industry, first as a buyer and later as a process assurance manager.
In my role as process assurance manager I became more and more fascinated by the interaction of people, processes and IT. This fascination motivated me to continue my professional career in consulting, where most of my roles were in the field of business and IT alignment.
My first consulting project was in the utility industry, working on the implementation of “Meetcode 2” for one of the large utility companies in the Netherlands. This project introduced me to the fast-moving and dynamic environment of liberalised energy markets and after working in several other industries, I realised that my initial passion for the energy market remained strong. This made the decision to join UCPartners fairly easy.
Some of the organisations I have worked for during the past few years were: Eneco, Rabobank International, Rabo Securities, Fortis, Nationale Nederlanden, and Nuon/Alliander where I have worked as an Enterprise Architect.
I am most valued by clients and colleagues for my pragmatic, results-driven mindset combined with my ability to master new information and environments quickly. I am certified TOGAF 8 enterprise architect as well as PRINCE2 project manager. My spare time is mostly spent under water, teaching diving as an open water scuba instructor.
