Introduction
The new energy market that is emerging to meet tomorrow’s energy demands needs new skills and capabilities. The old ways are no longer adequate and are becoming barriers to change.
Managers who built their careers in a former era may struggle to succeed in this new market. Some skills however, remain highly valuable and simply hiring new people with no past experience in the industry or basic understanding of what this industry is all about is obviously not the answer either.
Large incumbent energy companies, that also have to cope with downsizing and an ageing work force, struggle with fast change in today's markets if they do not maintain and create the right skill balance in their organisations.
We as UCPartners cannot pretend to have all the answers, but we gladly share our hard-won insights and experience with energy or utility company professionals to contribute to personal reskilling or upskilling and capability development.
Together with our clients, we develop the most effective approach, stretching from customised classroom curricula for groups of energy professionals to one-on-one coaching.
