During my studies of the Social and Political Sciences of the Environment I became more and more interested in the energy and utility sector. I therefore decided to focus research for my Masters degree on energy policy with an emphasis on renewable energy in the electricity sector. The combination of my interests for the energy sector and for the Nordic countries resulted in a research assignment on renewable energy policy arrangements at the European, Nordic and Swedish level. I conducted this research during an internship at the Swedish Energy Agency in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
I am especially interested in the strategies and the choices that are made on the political, economical and social level in the energy sector and its consequences for other policy domains. Furthermore I find it to be a very dynamic working environment.
Recently I have joined UCPartners on a project at a large Dutch DSO, where I act as a Project Management and Communications assistant.
